Enduring two birthday celebrations in Singapore in the absence of a few important things and personalities (it was definitely fun, thanks guys, but I wanted more gifts! hahaha) was kind of hard for me, because I have always been accustomed to birthday celebrations accompanied by the following:
a Dolby Digital-powered Karaoke system (yes, sing-a-long sessions 'till dawn - you can't do that in Singapore, mind you)
one lechon baboy, irregardless of its size and crispiness of its skin
an oversized mocha-flavoured cake with thick icings on top, courtesy of Belle Amels bakeshop
a moderate number of visitors who eat in moderate amounts
a huge serving of calderetang baka
lots and lots of Coca-Cola
my family.

Okay, never mind, Christmas is coming, I can have all the aforementioned things to myself and I can be with my family on that very special day. But what I am really looking forward to during the yuletide season are the gifts!!! hahaha.. I know it is not good... Well, we jolly well know the real reason for celebrating Christmas is to remember and celebrate the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ, our Redeemer, the Messiah.
But who wouldn't be excited?
There are gifts waiting to be opened.
...Gift wrappers willing to sacrifice their lives to be ripped and torn apart by the hands of the fortunate recipient. How I wish wrappers can be gracefully and meticulously opened amidst the euphoria, the excitement and the frenzy atmosphere of gift-giving. But too bad. No one can.
Oh, pity the wrappers.
Well, I actually want five gifts this coming Christmas. Five? Why not six? Or seven?
The hell you care, I want five.

A new set of shirts (preferably Penshoppe, I recently found some nice designs)
A new pair of rubber shoes (Nike!)
A new pair of casual shoes (hmm... chuck taylor, maybe)
And a new phone USB cable (so I can upload photos on multiply)
