Whining.
I have never felt this lethargic and troubled for the year 2008.
First thing that comes into my mind in the morning when I wake up: did I finish all my homework?
Second thing that comes into my mind: Quelle heure est-il?
If it's late, first thing I say: SHIT.
I hurry up as if I have been chased by a tyrannosaurus rex, tout le matin . It's been a daily routine to move at lightning speed.
Third thing: sleep in the bus. Making full use of it. Sleeping with an open mouth while my sound-isolation earphones are plugged into my ears. It's a terrible thing to do, but it's utterly necessary. I seriously hate the bus driver. He gets into my nerves. STOP that effing Chinese radio station. It SUCKS.
Fourth thing: Staying in school seems like forever. I hate it when the wall clock is behind you. You never fail to get a stiff neck during lessons.
Fifth thing: CCA. It's such an unproductive life. Plus no more badminton. My ultimate favourite CCA has been scrapped off its Wednesday schedule. How brutal.
Sixth thing: Lessons. I am seriously dozing off into nothingness and nowhere-ness. The teachers are astounding and impressive. But, there's just too little stuff handed out in lessons that internal assessments become humongous boulders that I can't carry from the classroom to the house and back to classroom again.
Seventh thing: Sleep. Sleep has become the most expensive thing in the world. I can't afford it with my microscopic $55 weekly allowance.
Eighth thing: Distance. Why does Singapore make traveling so arduous and painstaking and time-consuming? I feel like every part of Singapore is merely a walking distance from any point of reference but they make it in such a way that I have to cross the Andromeda galaxy first, swim the Sahara desert, blast a tunnel from one end of the sun to another, and hitch a ride with a humpback whale migrating from the Arctic to the Indian ocean before I get back to the condo. And it's an expensive ride.
