Twenty-two seconds.
The Federal Bureau of Investigation reported in September that more than 1.4 million murders, rapes, robberies and assaults were committed around the United States last year, or a violent crime every 22 seconds. No wonder that 22 seconds ago TV had nothing else to show but cops chasing traffic violators, convicts breaking out from prison, maniacs caught in the act of having sex in the park, a gang of teenagers caught by surveillance cameras robbing a convenience store, or students ending up dead in a few minutes after an unprecedented school shooting by some crazily lunatic who broke up with his girlfriend 22 seconds before the unfortunate event.Guess what happens 22 seconds later.
